Zayn Malik has officially teased his upcoming single “Side Effects” on social media, building anticipation ahead of the release of his new album Konnakol.

The former One Direction star shared a 20-second black-and-white reel on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse of the new track along with behind-the-scenes footage from a recent photoshoot. The clip features stylised visuals and snippets of music, hinting at the artistic direction of his fifth solo studio album.

In the caption, Malik confirmed that the album is just a week away from release, writing, “1 more week until KONNAKOL is out!” He also shared a different version of the teaser on TikTok, where he posted a colourful edit with additional clips from the same shoot, giving fans a contrasting visual experience.

The singer is also preparing for his largest solo tour to date, The Konnakol Tour, which is set to begin on May 12 in Manchester, UK. With 31 dates planned, the tour is expected to showcase his new music live to audiences worldwide.
